Travelling from Sunderland to Newcastle upon Tyne
By train or Metro
around 25 minutes on the Metro or a direct train from Sunderland into Newcastle. Newcastle Central is one of Newcastle upon Tyne's best-connected stations and the studio is a few minutes away.
By road
about 30-45 minutes by road via the A19 depending on traffic. In practice the Metro or a train is usually faster than driving into Newcastle upon Tyne.
By bus or coach
regular bus routes connect Sunderland with Newcastle city centre, dropping you close to the studio.
Sunderland is close enough for a daily commute; most local students simply travel in each morning for both the 10-day and the fine line courses.
